NEC’s recent release UCE Integration and Mobile Client to the UNIVERGE UM8700 is the next business generation to include Android and iPhone capabilities, which works with the SV8300 and SV8500 NEC systems.

Through integrated UM8700 functions, mailbox greetings can be synced to a UC status. Say goodbye to changing more than one mailbox greeting.

UM8700 Mobile apps allows the management of both personal and business communications all together on the same device, but with the added bonus of complete business security.

With the new UCE Integration, mailbox greetings can be set so status availability, as well as where someone is (for example, at lunch, in a meeting or on vacation) and precisely when – the date and time- of return, can be displayed.

With UM8700 Mobile a native application for Android and iPhone devices, business and personal communications co-exist, but they’re separate.

Business as usual, including receiving, placing and managing calls as well as visual call screening is possible.

And from a single phone number, managing business and personal voicemail and designate settings, too.
