NEC End of Support Products

As technology evolves, so do telecommunications products. Sometimes aging products no longer accommodate the changed business needs of an industry. Sometimes new and innovative product releases are the reason an old standard product is no longer supported.

End of Support, or EOS as it’s known in the industry, changes how communications service and maintenance can be achieved.

After all, Alexander graham Bell’s original invention wouldn’t and couldn’t serve anyone’s telecom needs today.

NEC announces some products will no longer be supported because they’ve reached the end of a sustainable life cycle on those product lines.

Those products no longer supported by the manufacturer include: Electra Professional, Electra Elite® 192, NEAX®2000 IVS, AD40 Voice Mail, IM16LX Voice Mail, Electra Elite®48, Electra Elite®IPK, NEAX® 2000 IVS2 and the AD120 Voice Mail.

Check back frequently, as discontinued products are noted when they’ve reached the end of their supportable life cycles.

While it can be tough to face change – especially during hard economic times – newer product lines can offer increased flexibility, and the features and tools vital to compete in a changing business world.
